Cake Flavor Families
Can't think of any flavors beyond the basics? Use these flavor families to give you some ideas and then we can refine the cake to your taste:
- Chocolate
- Coffee

- Beverage

Favorite flavor combinations include:
- Spice Cake with Homemade Applesauce Filling and a Dulce de Leche Buttercream Frosting (pictured at the top of the page with fresh apple slice decoration)
- Chocolate Hazelnut Cake with Midnight Ganache Filling and Frosting
- Golden Vanilla Cake with Blueberry Jam Filling and Citrus Buttercream
- Almond Amaretto Cake with Almond Amaretto Buttercream Filling and Frosting
- Berry Cake with Strawberry Conserve Filling, and Lemon Custard Buttercream Filling and Frosting

Frosting is Italian Meringue Buttercream, unless you specify a different type such as Midnight Ganache or White Chocolate Cream Cheese.

Filling Flavors
Choose a filling that complements your cake and frosting choices, or use the frosting for the filling too.
Note: I usually cannot use fresh fruit as a filling alone. However, fruit jams or preserves are an excellent substitution.

Any cake, frosting, and filling flavor, so long as I can still sculpt the cake.

Cookies

- Heath Bar Chocolate Chip
- Brownie (cookies)
- Glazed Italian (ricotta cookies)
- Cranberry White Chocolate
- Oatmeal Raisin Cinnamon
- Jam and Shortbread Ribbon
- Peppermint Pinwheels
- Meringues, assorted flavors

Pies
Just about any fruit pie you can think of, or savory pies.

Tarts
Fresh fruit tarts, jam tarts, Almond Custard Tart, and others including quiche.

Cake Truffles
Cake and frosting smushed together, formed into a 1-inch ball (approximately), and coated in chocolate. Usually adorned with a contrasting color of chocolate or candy drizzle. Use any cake and frosting combination you want, then ask for milk, dark, or white chocolate, or even a special Coconut White Chocolate.
We use Lindt chocolate for covering Cake Truffles.
